Base and landing preparation

Lift pits, thresholds & waterproofing.

Lift pit alterations, concrete thresholds, infills and tanking. We prepare the building to the lift contractor’s dimensions, levels and installation requirements.

Preparing the pit and landings

Check dimensions, levels and condition.

Pit depths, finished levels and threshold dimensions need to be right before the lift equipment is fitted. Existing concrete and any water ingress also need to be considered.

We agree the work, materials and curing time with the lift contractor so the pit and landings are ready for the next stage.
